You are where you are. This simple statement sounds pretty obvious, doesn’t it. Of course you can only start from where you are.
Where else would you start from?
So, why don’t you just start? The reason why just getting started seems to be such a difficult experience is because most are unaware of the obstacles that are getting in the way. These obstacles are in the form of a belief about yourself that isn’t true. That belief is usually saying you can’t. You would argue that you have such beliefs. If you haven’t started to make the changes you know you must take to feel good about yourself and life, you are unconsciously or consciously making excuses or believing in the self imposed limiting beliefs you were given. The good news is that you can begin to start right where you are by allowing yourself to be willing. Just being willing to think about starting something new and different, can open the door, even a crack. That’s all the new version of you needs from you to start. Turn to that self that is nudging you to change and let it know that you hear it and are willing to listen. Just this simple first step lets that version that knows you can do it, feel listened to and cared about and will support you to continue to open the door wider so you can feel capable of stepping across the threshold to the greater life that you have been creating in your mind for a very long time. It doesn’t matter when you start, it matters THAT you start. Your life is calling and will wait as long as it takes for you to decide that you are willing to get started no matter where you are. Now is the perfect time!
